I've had a tradition every year of calling my grandfather on Veteran's Day and thanking him for his service during World War II. Grandpa Bang passed away this spring and I'm sad to know I won't be calling him this year, but I am, nonetheless, grateful for the sacrifices he, his buddies, and today's men and women in the armed services make to ensure the security and freedom of our country.Thank you, Mugwump.
