This postcard came in a package from my friend, Hilary, who lives in the U.K. She sent it, along with Stephen Fry's book, My Washpot is Moab. I have yet to confirm this with her, but I think she thought I'd like his book because Fry writes sentences of brilliance and length that I approach in length only.
Hilary's postcard is one of those retro-modern cards that features a throw back to the 50s with a contemporary, "Well duh, darling" sentiment. Here for your enjoyment is today's card.
And again, if you'd like a postcard, find my address in the last couple of blog entries about postcards and send one along.
