I should stop reading the news and start living in a cave. I just don't understand this kind of arrogance and lack of consideration.

Sometimes I think I should quit watching the news.
I am a news addict and it drives me crazy. I just want to move up to Beaver, never to watch TV again.
I think I was much happier when I didn't have a clue.
Wow...my grandmother spent seven years of her life in a sanitorium (sp?) because she caught TB from her second husband - he knew he was infectious but didn't tell her, he just let her ride the disease with him. Nice.
Anyhoo.
UPDATE: The dude with TB is a graduate of the Naval Academy, he's a personal injury lawyer, and his father-in-law works for the CDC on TB and infectious diseases.
Someone should throw the book at this arrogant little squirt. What an ass!
I've been angry ever since I first heard about this guy, and the more that I know, the angrier I get. There's something delicious about knowing he's a personal injury lawyer. If someone gets TB from being on a plane (or at a wedding or a restaurant, etc.) with him, I hope they sue his ass. Big time.
I wonder if he can spell "STUPID!"
Merujo: I'm with you on this one. As a colleague of mine pointed out this afternoon when it was revealed Mr. Speaker is a personal injury lawyer, if the tables had been turned, you can bet your ass he'd have been the first in line to sue. They ought to throw the book at him.
Terri: I doubt it. If he hasn't got a lick of common sense or consideration for others, he certainly can't spell stupid, let alone comprehend it. And to think, our tax dollars paid for his education. I want my money back!
Now I'm wondering who is going to pay for the testing and treatment of the other passengers? It's a shame this person put his own selfish needs and desires before the health and welfare of others.
