In the BIN 2

Apparently Krispy Kremes aren't just an American thing anymore. And why should they be? I say we get rid of McDonald's and share the love that really matters--Hot and Fresh NOW Krispy Kremes. Yum. So where else can you find these delectable goodies? Well, since you asked... Apparently, you can find Krispy Kreme in the Land Down Unda.

Here's Talking Budgie and her report on the Australian Open, as well as pictures of Aussie Krispy Kremes (scroll down to the end of her post.)

I'm not often one for pregnancy or birthing or nursing stories, but this one cracked me up. All I can say is, "out of the mouths of babes."

Here's Angry Pregnant Lawyer and her scared baby.

Finally, my friend, Holly, provides information on how to entertain a bored cat, including action pictures.

Here's Self-Portrait As and her bored cat.

I can't see the words Krispy Kreme without thinking about our Blogaholics Anonymous meetings. Great times, great times.

And may I just say how disappointed I was that there were no Krispy Kremes at the last meeting? Sheesh. I mean, if I'm gonna be all "bare my soul to the blogosphere" I at least expect a donut out of it.

Oh yeah. I forgot, Gen brought cloudberries and cream. Still...

MMMmmmm....Krispy Kreme....a few years ago, I was in London for Valentine's Day, and was shocked beyond all belief that the line at Harrods was about 2 hours long, though! Can you believe it?

But I am almost certain I've had Krispy Kreme in Bangkok and in Manila. It's really going worldwide, although as usual, Geneva will be behind the times (I think such culinary endeavors offend the Swiss-French sensibilities).

Now I'm gonna have to get me one when I come visit!

Dr Lala: When are you arriving on Saturday? Perhaps we could make a run down to the original Krispy Kreme on Saturday night and get some fresh gobs of dough! Of course, you'll probably have to twist my arm...

I'll be even happier when this cake-of-the-gods arrives in my hometown of Brisbane...
