So, I discovered something the other evening.
I like OREO's somewhat humidified.
I know! Weird, huh?
I don't know what to make of it. I mean, as a kid, there was nothing worse than an OREO that had become soft as a result of sitting out or the humidity inundating a package full of cookies. But for some reason, I like them a bit on the soft side now.
I don't know what to think of this latest development...

LOL! Somewhat humidified. Too funny!
I thought of you yesterday...I bought some GORGEOUS gerbera daisies. They're bright orange. Love em!
Creole: I know! I don't know what to make of it, especially because it offends all of my culinary instincts. Still...
I love Gerbera daisies! I picked some up last week for a birthday dinner party I threw. They're just so friendly and happy... Love them, love them, love them!
You make me laugh, J. Funny stuff. Have you tried somewhat humidified DOUBLE STUFF OREOS yet? Could be tasty!
SML: I wondered about Double Stufs the other night, but that might be a bit too much cookie filling. Still, I may have to give them a whirl...
I had my first Deep Fried Oreos yesterday.
I'm not sure I'll ever be the same.
Ross: Deep Fried?! I'm not sure I'd ever be the same again, either. That said, where does one find deep fried OREOs?
I was visitng a friend in NYC and we were walking through some random street fair-- it's apparently a common carnival food up there.
Oreos suck.
So, Scott: Tell me how you REALLY feel about OREOs! ;-)
Okay, seriously, though--not liking OREOs is akin to not liking peanut butter or apple pie or Superman... What gives?
Hey yo, Scott probably does like Oreos. *I* am the one who doesn't. I'm Swizzies too, ya know. :-) What, you can't tell my "voice" from two words??
He also likes peanut butter, apple pie and superman.
Oops! Sorry Scott. The original comment listed "Swizzies Two" as the commenter and I just assumed that was Scott. Though, in truth, "OREOs Suck" did sound more like you, Di. Had I not assumed it was Scott and gone with you, my reply would have been something like this:
So.... Di.... Tell me.... OREOs.... Suckage.... Why????
Or something like that.
I'm at least glad to know Scott likes them, as it seemed so out of character for him. (And I'm glad to know he likes peanut butter, apple pie and Superman! Where do you stand on those three?)
;-)
